I
have long aspired to the words of the first motivational
speaker Ralph Waldo Emerson, "Be
yourself and run your life by what you know to
be right and in harmony with your spiritual essence."
I was a struggling, yet an idealistic youth who
wanted to change the world but I had to learn
to ignore those who said it could not be done.
In fact, I realized as an adult without my starry-eyed
youthful idealism that it is impossible NOT to
change the world. Most people think seeing is
believing. As a motivator, I think believing
comes first.
I hope that my audiences gain more than primers
filled with tongue-in-cheek applications of classical
pragmatism gone awry in the contemporary society.
I have longed to be the "REAL Thing" and
not "This year's Band-Aid." I attempt
to dispense wisdom addressing the soul rather
than the wallet. I believe genuine Motivation
and Inspiration are basically answering the question
of how a 'good person' should live, with the
underlying assumption that NOTHING
IS TOO HORRIBLE IN THE WORLD THAT GOOD CAN NOT
OVERCOME.

Dr. Adolph Brown, III

Adolph is the most flexible and adaptable person I know. He is calm and always reassuring when others around him become upset by daily events. Even when the pressure is on, he does more than roll with the punches, Adolph calmly, intelligently, and readily responds to any circumstance. He doesn't "cry over spilled milk" and he bounces back more fierce than ever from setbacks. Adolph loves the challenge of thinking on his feet. His work meshes with his values and is meaningful to him. He communicates his purpose statement all the time: "You win or you learn...you only lose when you chose to lose."
Overall, Adolph is family-oriented, altruistic, disciplined, focused, spiritual, and values responsibility, and high ethics both in himself and others. I believe Adolph gets meaning and satisfaction from this. His friends call him dependable and his family call him loyal. Others just call him when they want positive results!
Honorably,

Marla
Wife of Doc

"Not
having a father present, the loss of his oldest and only brother Oscar, and
the hurtful experience of a young divorce cost Adolph many trials but not his
captivating spirit or his ability to inspire others. As a fun-loving educator
and a lively presenter he creates a charismatic atmosphere and stage presence
with exhaustive preparation, creative strategizing and competitive intensity.
He combines the toughness of his upbringing and Christian values with an infectious
positive attitude that...............as a result has won the respect of his
peers and young people around the world. Adolph knew he had a choice to be "bitter
or better" early
in life. Adolph has chosen to be "better" and help others do the
same."
